What is the right way to close an EIRL?

I would like to close my EIRL business in France. I have accessed Chambre de commerce et d’industrie (CCI) online and be offered two choices:
- Cesser totale d’activit茅 avec radiation du RCS
- Cesser d茅finitivement l’activit茅 sans radiation
What do they mean and what are the consequences of each?
