What is the difference between NNI and securite sociale numbers?

On the URSSAF form declaration trimestrielle de recette, I have an num茅ro national d’Identit茅 number (NNI). I also have a securite sociale number. The first 5 digits of these numbers are similar but not the remaining numbers. What is the difference in these numbers and which must I use when dealing with caisse r茅gionale d’assurance maladie (CRAM)?
