Update on banks and a question about N26
Hi, just thought I’d share that some banks, such as Boursobank, will not let you open an account until after your first tax return, despite their chatbot saying otherwise. They want ‘un avis d’imposition’ as part of opening the account.
N26 seems more open to people in their first year in France. However, you have to choose your job from a list, and if there is nothing in the list that resembles what you do they are of no help. Has anyone on here working as a profession lib茅rale / general business consultant managed to open an N26 account? If so what did you pick? This is the list.
