RAM or RSI to be contacted for ayants droits?

I have filled out the forms to have my partner and our two children included on my healthcare business cover in France and sent the forms (cerfa 14445 01 and cerfa 14411 01) off. I have sent them together with birth certificates to RAM (R茅union des Assureurs Maladie) but now I am concerned that I should have sent this to RSI (R茅gime social des ind茅pendants). Is this correct?
Also when I receive my carte vitale (I still have not received this - how long does this normally take?) will the same card be used for my partner and our children or will I get something else that covers them?
