Do foreign credit card accounts have to be declared with the tax return

I have a few british credit cards and would like to know If I have to declare with my tax return this year since this is the first year i’m making a tax declaration. I understand bank accounts needed to be declared but I was just wondering if credit cards just used for borrowing and repaying are included in this category?
I also read that even the inactive ones must be declared. I have a lot in this case, many I had long since forgotten about. Is that true?
