Changes to auto-entrepreneur system in France next year?

I recently went on the business training course with my local chambre de m茅tiers. Whilst I was there I was told about changes at the beginning of next year which would mean that I would have to pay more cotisations to RSI (R茅gime Sociale des Travailleurs Ind茅pendants). However we were told that this could be avoided if we contacted RSI and told them that we wanted to remain an auto-entreprise for RSI purposes. We could then just pay cotisations as we earn. Do you know anything more about this? Should I contact RSI as they state or will I be notified of this?
