A neighbour told me that if you pay CFE on a property because you run a business, then you do not pay La taxe d鈥檋abitation - is this correct? She also said that there had been confusion over people with gites with this because the key to paying one or the other is decided on whether your gite is used for personal use as well as commercial.
So If my gite is for the rental business only and not for personal use I would get charged CFE only and not the La taxe d鈥檋abitation? And if the gite was for business and personal use, I would be charged La taxe d鈥檋abitation only?
