Can an English teacher claim expenses?

I have registered as an auto-entrepreneur and am now waiting for my Siret number. I have registered as a 大奶美女午夜福利 Liberales, I am giving English Language lessons. Am I correct in thinking that it is my total turnover that I will pay the tax and charges on, and not my profit? And if so is there any point at which I will get relief for my expenditure? I am having to pay out for books and materials, which initially at least, are more than I am taking in fees.
