Assedic entitlement after being made redundant?

If someone is made redundant from a company (on CDI contract) for 5 years and either made redundant as employer has decided to close or made redundant for economic reasons (employer has no more money) can you explain what the approximate state benefit / entitlement is to the ex-employee how much Ass茅dic or Ch么mage etc they would receive?
Also, if the person decides to set-up as an auto-entrepreneur (after being made redundant) can they receive the Ass茅dic until their auto-entrepreneur business is established.
