Am I allowed to have work contract in another EU country?

I am French resident (I have Croatian citizenship therefore I do not require visa to stay in France) but also have Croatian residency as well. Am I allowed to live and work in France under auto-entrepreneur business while being employed in Croatia on regular work contract?
