Agreement between co-founders for creating a SAS business?

We are planning to register our startup as a soci茅t茅 par actions simplifi茅e (SAS) company in few months here in France. We did not start legal process between the co-founders yet. However, my co-founders are insisting on signing an agreement on a piece of paper (non-legal document). Is there any legal value of this type of agreement?
